Tikpere is an African story of strength, culture and history told through lively, colorful and vibrant dance, drumming and storytelling.

About this event

Tikpere, meaning “Our Culture and History Will Not Disappear” in Bariba, is a festive community event designed to increase the knowledge of and cultural pride in the history, strengths and contributions of traditional and modern African cultures through a lively, colorful African performance. Doors open at 7:00pm and the performance begins at 7:30. Don’t miss this wonderful opportunity to experience authentic African culture through vibrant dance, drumming and storytelling. Come watch as the African Culture Connection artists walk you through a beautiful African story of cultural pride and the positive influences Africa has had in our society.
